In response to the decoration craze for Halloween in Hong Kong, local Karaoke joint “Red Box: PLUS” decided a relevant decoration would be a bloodied manikin.  Even though Karaoke places are a little bit shady at times, and usually a hub for drugs and debauchery, this seemed to fit in with their decor.  Needless to say it was a very interesting way to warm up to the Halloween spirit.  Cute dress too. Shame…

In Hong Kong, the “task force” designated to help curb the availability and appeal of drugs needs to take further action in approving marketing messages by third parties.  In this case- the phrase “so hot – so pot” could be taken to mean, “oh, Hot Pot is great”.  But in reality, when you read this, its increasingly clear that the other message is dominant.

Drugs are bad. Very very bad. Danger.
